name and phone number showing up

Hi...

when I call my friends house, my name does not show up on her caller ID anymore, it just says my town and phone #...

is there a way to change that??

Are you saying that the system worked properly in the past?  Are you saying that this occurs only at your friend's house?  Please provide sufficient detail so that the volunteers here can offer helpful advice rather than speculate.

not really the answer i was looking for, just need an answer not a smart {word filter avoidance} remark

when I had optimum, every person I call was able to see my name and #

now with verizon they are only seeing the town and my number

Curious if the persons are in a "local" area or are further away.  If they are further away do you have someone "local" who can tell you what they see.

Note most people here are just fellow verizon customers.  So can only tell you there experience.  I know some people I call see my name but some long distance calls to non-Verizon areas do not.
