can anyone please tell me if there is a penalty for canceling phone service? also if phone service has been disconnected why am i still being charged? my phone service was disconnected on the 14th(long story) and was supposed to be established in my new residence on the 16th. it is the 25th have been trying to get it established all that time  and i still do not have phone service but im being billed for service...im going with optimum voice. enough is enough already. i feel i shouldnt have to pay for non existent service.
