I switched from Optimum to Verizon FIOS triple play over 3 months ago. I kept my phone number. When people on Optimum call me, they can't get out of Optimum (the phone never rings) and they get an error message saying the call cannot be completed as dialed. I tried callling me from their phones and this happens again so we are dialing correctly. It may be Optimum thinks somehow my phone number that moved out of Optimum to Verizon is somehow now dead.
Other people can call me. How do I resolve this?
