I'm interested in the $20/mo VZW home phone, and I'm curious what the additional taxes and fees are in my area.
In FL, it's about $4 per month fees and taxes, per my parents. I'm guessing MN is a little higher.
My MN landline is charging me $15 in taxes and fees for a $17 service, so I'd like to switch, but I want to know the fees in advance. I don't want to switch and then switch back if VZW taxes and fees are the same. The VZW sales rep estimated 10-15% (which would be $2-$3), but I'm not sure how much weight to put into that.
I have no other VZW services (in my name).
Any MN home phone users who can share their taxes/fees?
Any VZW employees who can get hard numbers from existing accounts?
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Thanks. I was talking about the Verizon Wireless home phone. I didn't realize that was another forum.
