Alexa with IPS Set Top Box not working

I enabled the FIOS skill & linked a IPS Box to an Echo. Checked in the Alexa App and saw that the correct set top box ID was linked to the Echo. However whenever I give a command Alexa tells me "I can't find any Video Skills that can do that".  I can't find anything wrong in the Fios Skill setup, it simply does not work.  How can I fix this?

I have found Alexa to be a bit temperamental on how you ask it to do something.
What have you asked?

I have FiOS skill that does work.
I can try to duplicate what you have asked to see if it is a skill issue or something on your setup.

I was aware of Alexa's need sometimes for carefull wording so I used the exact wording givens as examples in the Fios Skill such Alexa 'go to NBC', 'Change to Channel 899', 'Switch to CNN' and 'Pause'. None worked. Alexa always responded with the eror message I gave above.

Try saying like switch to NBC on FIOS.

Or Fios switch to NBC.

Tried using your exact wording. Didn't work. Only change was in the error message.  This time it said check in Books & Videos to make sure your provider is linked to the Echo, which it is.
