My settings are listed as WPA2 however I still cannot connect my two new Nest Protects. Any other suggestions out there?
Are you trying to connect the Nest Protect to your 2.4Ghz or your 5Ghz network?
I'm having trouble connecting my Nest Protects 2nd Generation (three of them) to my Verizon FIOS G1100 router/network. I know the Nest Protects work as I could connect them to a mobile hotspot but that doesn't help.
What settings should I have within my router to allow them to access the network?
I went through Nest Support and they said that I might need some ports open and they provided a list:
80, 443, 11095, 9543, 1935
It appears that port 80 is open but how do I add the other ports?
Thanks
2.4ghz. I also have IPv6 enabled as well.

Follow the instructions at the link above. IPv6 is not functional on Fios so it’s totally useless.
Good Luck

I already replied to your other post but here is the link again. https://nest.com/support/article/Recommended-Wi-Fi-router-and-access-point-settings-for-use-with-Nes...
Thanks. I've tried all that too. Still doesn't work.

And from the Nest Website.
If you’re trying to connect a Nest Protect, make sure your router supports IPv6. Your Nest Protect uses an IPv6 address to communicate and set up connections with other Nest Protects.
Note: Even if your router supports IPv6, your internet service provider may not. Contact your provider to make sure that IPv6 is supported in your area. If your provider doesn’t support IPv6, you will not be able to add your Nest Protect to your Nest Account. This means your Nest Protect will not send alerts to your phone or tablet, but your Nest Protect will still be able to detect smoke or CO and sound an alarm.
(I would say since you cannot use the full functionality of IPv6 I would keep on Fios about when it will be available.)
to help you try and get ports open (if Fios allows it)
