I have the Amazon Alexa app with the Fios Skill installed but it can't locate any compatible devices. I have three boxes: one VMS and two IP Clients (Quantum Enhanced DVR). Any ideas what's going on?
Donyou have a standard network setup using just the quantum gateway?
I have the standard Quantum Gateway Router (Actiontec G1100), along with two Actiontec Network Extenders (Actiontec WCB6200Q). By the way, if anyone is having wifi signal strength issues like I was, those network extenders are amazing. They're expensive, like everything else with TV, phone & internet service, but since I got them with a significant discount, they were easily worth it. My entire network, despite having three separate access points, has one name (a 2.4gHz and a 5.0gHz) and supposedly no interference between the three devices. So yes, I have a 100% FiOS approved network setup, but Alexa doesn't see any of my boxes. In fact, now one of them has disappeared from the Fios TV app. Very frustrating.
