Hi! I switched to Verizon from Straight Talk because of a promotion I saw online. The promotion was if I Ported in my number and brought my own device I would receive $300 and a free Stream TV. When I signed up, in my email it said I was eligible for $250 and a Stream TV. However it only gave me the promo code for the $250, but not the Stream TV. When I go to the Stream TV on the My Verizon app it says it's $0.00, but when I add to my cart it says $69.99. Any help with this would be awesome! Also, it's worth noting that this special is no longer on the website and I can't find it anywhere, but I do still have the emails saying I qualified for the Stream TV

If this is like a roku type device then not so sometimes. My smart TV is 5yrs old and doesn't have the disney plus app so I had to buy a roku if I wanted it on my TV. I was casting from my phone and tablet but got tired of that so bought the roku and found lots more stuff on there my TV didn't have.

Not to worry, not everyone has a smart tv and my tv still works so why would I spend $500 on a new one when I qualify for a free stream tv? Lol
UPDATE: I spoke with a rep today through the in-app chat and it was an effortless conversation and they’re shipping my stream tv to me! Since my Amazon fire tv stick took a garbage this will be great! Thanks Verizon!

Same as roku which is only $40. Like roku better as the little stick goes in back of the TV. This seems to be a box. Probably can subscribe to all the same stuff as roku.

Same here. Looks like it's still happening. Oh well. I just know from now I can't trust them for extras and only for my phone.

Christian93 and D_bomb, we greatly appreciate your business. Our goal is to provide a resolution to the concern about the free Stream TV. A text should have been sent with information to redeem about 7-10 days after setting up service. Please check your Private Messages, so we can further assist.

I have this same issue; I cannot get help from anyone in Customer Service; I have called four times (one person told me to wait until November to redeem, but the text says I only have until 9/22; one call was dropped and the last two people tried transferring me to FIOS but the calls do not go through); I have also tried chatting online with two different people; ANY help would be greatly appreciated

I am having the same issue and have spent the last month trying to figure it out. A chat agent even opened up a ticket on my behalf that no one can help me with. Can someone please help me get the device.

I am also having the same issue. I was sent a text message for the free stream TV with a link and promo code, but the code does not work at all. I tried to chat a few times, but the reps are useless, trying to pass the blame on to other depts. I also never received an email for my free echo dot and smart plug. These are things I was promised when making the switch from Tmobile to Verizon. Verizon, you have an unhappy family here. Please make this right.

I am having this same issue. I received a text for a free Verizon stream tv but when I enter promo code it says invalid. Ever since I joined Verizon a couple of weeks ago I have had issues with everything I have tried to do. I first order 2 Samsung galaxy s20 5g uw's and it took me over an hour to pick up at store. The phones were paid for and they had the phones but had to call a supervisor so they could release them to me in the system. I was on my lunch for work and I had my wife already go in there and had them get them ready for me so it would be as fast as possible but it still took over an hour. They treated me like it was my fault the entire time when I had done everything I was supposed to do but they had a new system they did not know how to use. Then I tried to switch my 2 kids line over to Verizon was on the chat service on my Verizon and it took 2 hours to get 2 questions answered and still have not been able to switch over their lines. I just kept getting switched from rep to rep but none of them are real people they are all auto responses. They lied to me and was of no use at all and once again blamed me for not being able to switch over the phone lines. Now O get this nice offer for a stream tv that I thought may redeem them some but of course the promo code does not work and its just not me it has happened to customers for months on here. I am kicking my self for ever leaving sprint/t-mobile cause their customer service was a million times better and never had issues like this. My best recommendation to everyone is do not switch service providers to Verizon!!!!!

Same thing happened to me! I got a text today and when I contacted Verizon because the code wasn't working the online chat hung up on me. This is absolutely ridiculous...as if I made up the text I received?

Agent on the online chat said they couldn't confirm it and basically disconnected with me. I called Verizon and they said it was legitimate and they tried to put the code through. After an hour on the phone they couldn't figure out why it wasn't working and said they would reach out to me. lol, can't make this stuff up.

Can you please help me claim my free streaming t.v! My brother is a paraplegic and one of the only reasons I signed up for this deal is because it is a voice controlled Device and makes it operable for my brother with no use of his hands and this is the only hope he has to have a very small but rewarding type of Independence. Please email me , text me ,call me asap!!!! I need to help my brother and I only went with Verizon because of this promotion!!!
