Rebate Denied

Hi All,

I wanted to ask advice on my declined rebate submission. I wanted to take part of the Switch22 promotion with Verizon which would give me an up to 1000 gift card for porting in a number. I checked online to verify the number was eligible for the promotion, but my submission is being denied because I can’t provide a final bill. My ported in number came from boost mobile and they don’t provide paper bills. Everything is done through the app. I read the terms and conditions and no where does it say that I need to provide a final bill, until the end of the submission process. I feel like they just added that in at the end, but no where in their terms and conditions does it say that I needed to provide a final bill.
the only conditions I read about are the following:

any tips on how I can go about this. This really left a bad taste in my mouth from the service verizon is displaying.

Brometheuz, thank you very much for coming over to our wireless family! We definitely want you to receive the promotion you're eligible for. However, as we all know, promotions do come with rules that need to be followed. We will need a final bill from your previous provider. I would urge you to discuss this further with your previous provider, so they can perhaps give you a bill you can submit online. Thank you!  -Alicia

I’ve talked to customer service for over an hour and also visited a store and have been given the same answer. They are paperless and everything is done through the app. There’s no option for getting a paper statement or a bill. And I feel like it’s a little unfair to expect out of boost when Verizon wireless can just waive the requirement.
