Can I use My MiFi as A Hotspot With The Unlimited Plan?

I've been told opposing answers to my question:

For the unlimited plan, will the MiFi be considered for the "Hotspot" where after 10GB the speed drops to 3G or does it fall under the smartphone where the priority drops after 22GB?

One rep told me it was the former while another told me it was the latter.

It is 10GB then unlimited at 3G speed. 

Confirmed on here by several different Verizon representatives.

Thank you! I figured as such, but since the second rep I talked to yesterday when I asked more questions about the plan said the opposite I figured the community here probably knew more.
