Verizon Support had us do a 'Factory Reset' it gave us 4 or 5 gigs of app space. Access it in Settings-Backup and Reset. We did not lose account setting after doing it.
To move apps to SD card, use the Sandisk app Memory Zone. Don't really need it though, after Doing the reset.
