My Ellipsis 8 shuts down several times a day. How do I reboot to try and fix the problem?

Press and hold the power button until the red Ellipsis screen shows to reboot.
Mine also shuts down randomly for no reason. I use mine mainly to read in the Kindle app, and it will just shut off. Are you using any particular app when it happens?

Wolf0522, we are here to help you resolve this. We want you to be able to use your tablet. When does this usually occur? Have you installed any new applications before this started happening? Here is a link to our Ellipsis 8 support page to help you do a Factory Reset, https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/928102. We recommend to back up all of your information before doing this. We also recommend turning off automatic app restore. This will make sure that the old application are not installed automatically in case one of them is making your device restart at random times.
