I can't find the icon for the mobile hotspot on my tablet. I want to put the icon on my screen so I don't have to search for it every time I want to turn it on.

Swipe down from the battery icon on the top right of the homescreen - there should be an option there to turn the hotspot on/off.
Both of these are great recommendations. Oh2 baby, I do have a couple questions. Are you trying to connect your tablet to the mobile hotspot from your mobile phone? Or do you want to make the tablet itself the hotspot so other devices can connect to it?
