How do I unlock my device if I forgot pattern and password?

I have tried the factory reset, but the next screen is Chinese.  Not sure what to do.

That can definitely present a problem rscott59. Let's get that tablet back to a recognized language. Once you're in the menu wiht the chinese characters press the volume down button until the last line is highlighted in blue. The last line is for a reboot of the device. Once the last line is highlighted please press the volume up button and device will boot normally.
