Is there any plans to allow customers the ability to unlock the bootloader on the ellipsis so custom roms caan be installed?

I would like to be able to install custom roms on my ellipsis, but until the bootlaoder is allowed to be unlocked this is not possible.  Are there any plans to make this option available to customers?
