Verizon LTE extender works great when at home, but every time I leave and return home I must power my iPhone off to reconnect to the extender.

jmk1951, depending on your device settings, restarting the device can definitely be needed to ensure you're connecting to your Network Extender unit. We can check those settings for you in order to know what to expect. What is the model of your network extender (found on the label)? What model iPhone do you have?
