Why can't I sign into Verizon's Cloud on an Ellipsis 7?

Have a new Ellipsis 7 with software MV7B_31D41_422Y

Open the Cloud app on the Ellipsis and sign into Verizon account and I get:

"Mobile Number Changed.

The Mobile number for this phone has changed to 650-xxx-xxxx (the # listed in My Verizon for this device).

Before you set up Verizon Cloud...

When the phone restarts..."

I click OK and it briefly shows "Mobile number updated" then returns to the log in screen.

Restarted the Ellipsis 7, force closed Cloud, deleted and reinstalled Cloud, made sure Cloud is enabled in My Verizon, same results.

I registered the # assigned to the Ellipsis 7 at verizonwireless.com and that worked. (I was using my User ID, so I guess that was the problem.)

I'm sorry to learn of the Cloud issues you are encountering jpnsco! Let's get some more clues! Were you able to access the Verizon Cloud from device before? When was the last time that you were able to access the Verizon Cloud from this device? Did this issue start after installing/updating any application/software? Are you able to login to your My Verizon account http://bit.ly/xB4iTc using this device credentials?
