Tyg, we want your tablet to have the best software available. What software do you have on it now? http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/verizon-ellipsis-7-update/ Have you tried updating while it is plugged in or has a full charge?

Yes. Tried with full charge on battery. Also tried while plugged into wall

charger as well as my laptop. It got up to 61% (1) one time. Then stalled.

And continues to stall. After resetting the tablet 3 times now, this is

getting old. I don't want the bloody update now. Turn off the automatic

update for the tablet from your end or I'm returning it. Even your website

is misleading. Whatever happened to being able to just download the update

and install it via PC?

Kevin.

Software updates should not be this difficult, Tyg. I’m sorry to hear this has been happening the past 3 weeks. Let’s make sure this gets fixed once and for all. Can you please clarify the steps you are taking to reset the device? Also, how much storage is available? Click here: http://vz.to/1YfKKLw . Please keep us posted.

You cannot download the update elsewhere, there is no "hard copy."  The device must download it itself.
