why does my ellipsis 7 not recognize the SD card I inserted?

I purchased an SD card to expand my memory on my tablet but it doesn't even recognize I have inserted the card?

That's very interesting! Let's get to the bottom of this so that you can utilize your new SD card.  What brand is the micro SD Card?  Do you have any other devices that you can test the card in?  Please provide these details so that we can further assist. We look forward to hearing back.

Thanks for the details. Have you tried inserting the SD card into another device? Where was the card purcashed? When was it purchased.

I tried it on another device it does not work there either:(  I have to admit i bought it off eBay is there certain brands that I should look to buy?
