2G and 3G termination of service also adversely affecting home phone service

My 98year old mother has lost her home phone service in Salem, Oregon, for the past week because of a glitch in the termination of 2G/3G technology. Even after adding a new home wireless box, I cannot get her home phone activated. After way too much time talking to Verizon I have basically been told they are turning on the switch that was stuck incident ticket by ticket. I entered an incident ticket three days ago and they can’t tell me when it will be taken care of. This is really horrible service by Verizon.
