I've had a Driod 4 for the last 2 (or 3, can't remember) years. It's been consistently 4G everywhere I go in Charlotte. Even the rural areas of Charlotte (where I live) still had 4G continually. In the last couple months or so, I've noticed the lack of 4G connectivity intermittently and now the last week or two completely void of 4G connectivity. It's all been 3G. I've noticed many threads here complaining of similar issues.
Is growth causing the network to reach its capacity? Voice is not a problem (and never really has been...I've been with Verizon for 15 years...well Alltel then if I remember right). And when the 4G was launched and I received my phone, it's been a dream. But I'm wondering if this lack of 4G connectivity is because the growth in Charlotte has caused the network to reach its limit? I'm disappointed obviously that Verizon couldn't plan ahead a bit and see how the city has been growing. If it is a limit issue I hope they will do something about it.

I've been having problems in State College PA (16801 and 16802). I suggest you call technical support and open a problem ticket with them to confirm that the LTE network is at capacity. Good luck, I haven't had any.
