So, years ago when Verizon gave up on email, they asked everyone to use AOL. My wife did that because she didn't want to change her email ID. I didn't since I also used hotmail.com with my Verizon account. She hates AOL.
We both use Office 365 and thus Outlook on our PC's, me without any issues on PC, or getting mail to work on my iPad or iPhone.
Email works fine for Outlook on here PC, but I cannot get email to work on her iPhone or iPad. I have followed the instructions on setting up POP and IMAP without sucess. Here is where it gets little strange.
When I look at the Outlook setup on her PC it shows her details for [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] if I go into Repair then Manual the ID is correct it looks as if the POP information is for pop.mail.yahoo.com with Port 995. Outgoing would be SMTP.mail.yahoo.com Port 465.
She has never had a yahoo account what is going on?
I tried using the Yahoo information on the iPhone/ iPad but again without success.
Apple tried to help -without success and told me to contact my email provider......
Help please.

This question is best asked in the Verizon Fios forum at forums.verizon.com.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

We want you to be able to use the type of email you want to use! I found the information on how to get Outlook on iOS devices at Microsoft's website. Check it out here: http://spr.ly/6608zW4XI;
