Poor service in and around house

The cell signal in and around my house is awful and completely undependable. There are times when a 15 minute conversation has two or three dropped calls. This poor service is in a small pocket around my house; walking up the street either direction results in better service in a short distance. In this day and age, where dependence on a cell phone is high, why do I not have dependable service at my house? It's not like I live out in a rural area; I live in metro Detroit, in an area that sees good service just outside the pocket in which I reside. Is there anything that can be done for this? This poor signal has directly hindered phone interviews and work calls, and it is unacceptable.

DAVBER23,

Your service should be by your side. Because buildings are made with various materials that can block signal, we are unable to guarantee indoor services. There are however ways to still use your phone. Here's a link to assist: http://spr.ly/6585805Z3 What happens when you use WiFi calling?

I've lived in my house 10+ yrs with my home office being located in the same room with no issues.  In the last 6 mo, I can no longer use my phone at my desk (like I have for more than 10 yrs), without people complaining of my phone cutting out and eventually dropping calls.

How do I report this issue?  Obviously something has changed and it's not relative to my location.  I rely on my home office and phone ot conduct business.  To say this is an invonvenience is a huge understatement.

I have had the same iPhone 6s for 2 yrs without any issues previously.   Please advise.

I am sure you are frustrated with the loss of service. I would be too! There are always changes that impact our Network, some are controllable and others may not be.

Common causes of signal related change may include: Interference, In-building issues, Foliage, Construction, Population changes, Cell site changes (e.g., tower relocation, antenna alignment, power adjustment, etc.). We are happy to look into options for you if you would like.
