My husband and I recently got a Verizon Visa Card in order to accrue reward dollars to use on our Verizon bill. Everything worked great and I was able to track our purchases and reward dollars on the Verizon Visa Card app in real-time. Then my husband lost his card and we had to call for new ones. Since then, we are unable to see any rewards. We can still see our purchases in real-time but we show $0.00 Verizon dollars. I have called both synchrony and Verizon a few times and am told we just need to wait for a few months of billing cycles and we should be able to see them show up then. The Verizon representative I spoke to today spent an hour looking for a resolution and that was all she could find even with internal communication issues. But there is no guarantee that they will show up. This is unacceptable!!!!! I saw where this has been an issue with others and it obviously has to do with the new Synchrony issued card not linking to the Verizon account. This should be a simple fix via collaboration and whoever is in charge needs to get their heads out of their butts and FIX IT!!!!

I had the same problem. I have been using my Verizon VISA since October, but missing the reward credit. VISA Synchrony statement says I earn XX dollars but it never showed up in my Verizon up to claim (Verizon up app says i have $0.00 Verizon dollars)
Very very frustrating. I called Verizon wireless customer service, they said talk to Verizon up, gave me a phone number to call, and waited 25 minutes, Verizon up said there is zero reward dollar, i should call Synchrony bank ask them to transfer reward dollars to them. I called the bank, they said not their problem since their statement for the month shows I earned Verizon dollars, it is up to Verizon to let me claim it, I have been on the phone for 2 hours yesterday and 2 hours last week chatting and phoning and got a roundabout! I don't have that kind of time, this is bad, I have other credit cards (Citi and Chase) I can use and earn 2-3% with no string attached, why do i bother with this VISA card that gave me reward dollars but I can't claim? Yes I can get a little saving on my cell phone bill to use this VISA card, but is it worth it to go through this much trouble, the saving is a bait, I'm seriously thinking about switching to other carrier. I read that this issue has been happening since 2020 and was not resolved completely since it is still happening to me!

We are here to help look into this matter for you. To confirm, the Visa statement is the only location at this time that shows you have any rewards available? Do you receive any notifications or anything about the rewards being available every month on your phone via text?-Candice

no, i didn't receive any text or email notification about the reward to be claimed. I know I used the card all the time during the month, so I looked at November statement, the reward dollars are there, but i have no way to claim it since the money was not transferred to Verizon up.

That is definitely not what we want to hear. It sounds like things may have become unlinked with your account somehow. That is something that can be fixed easily if that is what is happening. To do so, please start by logging into your Verizon Visa account at https://verizonvisacard.syf.com/login/ .
Once that is done, navigate to the "message" section at the top of the navigation bar. Then create a new message.
Select the topic "Verizon Acct Maintenance" from the drop down there.
Then enter the Verizon phone number this should be assigned to and hit submit.

i can't find the "message" section in https://verizonvisacard.syf.com/login/
But i don't think it is the "link" issue because I can see and claim reward for the month of October and December, but I'm missing reward for the month of November. If it is the "link" issue then why did it skip a month and the months before and after are fine?
is there a way to go back and claim missing reward from November?

yes I gave up on this. Don't have the time to call and wait and get pass around from Verizon customer service to VISA customer service, nobody cares to look into the problem for you. Just use other cards! I use this to pay Verizon bill because of $10 discount and use other cards with less hassle don't have to chase reward dollars!

I have called Verizon wireless, I have called Verizon Visa card support. This card has to be a joke. Verizon rep even said “oh I didn’t even know we had a card”. What!!! Nobody knows what they are doing on either side. What’s the point of using a card that don’t transfer the rewards. Plus nobody knows how to fix anything. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. This is very frustrating. Tired off calling departments that don’t know what they are doing
