I bought a LG VX5500 Verizon Prepaid phone.
I want to keep my present cell number that I have with Virgin Mobile.
What is the process to accomplish that?

You can do it a couple different ways. Obviously you have access to the website, so you can do it here on verizonwireless.com. It is called a PORT-IN. You can also call up customer service, from a different phone (preferably landline) by dialing 888-294-6804 and asking them to assist you in a port-in.

Also don't cancel the Vigin Mobile account.It'll cancel out on its own when number is fully ported over
