All I'm wanting to do is change my plan on my prepaid phone to where it takes 1.99 a day off of it. I know how to do it, but I need to know if it erases your previous balance back down to zero when you switch your plan while you still have money on it?? I have 16 bucks on my phone and that might not be much to some people, but I would really like to keep that same amount when I switch plans, thanks in advance!

It just changes which ever new plan you want. You can do this online under my verizon, you can change your plan up to 4 times in a 30 day period. So have no fear your $16.00 will still be there.
