I bought the Verizon Prepaid SIM at Walmart, which advertises and extra 2GB over the standard Verizon plans (i.e., 7GB rather than 5GB and 12GB rather than 10GB). But since the SIM comes with 2GB for $45/month by default, I assumed I could switch to the 7GB or 12GB plans from the My Verizon account page. But when I log in, I just see the standard 5GB and 10GB plans. Does anyone know how to access the 7GB and 12GB data plans?

Did you have to pay more to get 7gb of data? When I bought the $45 plan from Walmart 2 weeks ago, it cost me $50 plus tax ($53).
I thought I would get the 7 GB plan since I paid $50 for the sim kit. When I called Verizon they said they could give it to me if I added $5 to the plan, so I did (another $6.23, not sure why it was an additional $1.23). If I did not add the $5, I was only going to get 2 GB of data.
I would like to know if they treated you the same way. That seems a little misleading to me.
Thanks

Knowing the details of your plan are always important to what you're able to use Mtrish11 . I can understand the concern. I recommend calling our Prepaid team at *611 or Team at 888-294-6804 to discuss your exact plan on your line and options for adding data. This team does not have access to Prepaid account and we want to make sure you receive the correct information.
