We are traveling to the UK and Denmark.
If I put my phone in airplane mode before I leave the US, keep it in airplane mode the entire time, can I use Wifi calling to send and receive texts to and from my family (US numbers, but they will also be traveling with me). Will this work, and will I be charged?

We hope you enjoy your trip! Keeping a phone in Airplane mode will prevent it from connecting to the local towers. You can still connect to Wi-Fi. If using Wi-Fi Calling, calling U.S. based numbers would not result in extra charges. If you turn Airplane mode off and your phone connects to a local tower, however, you can be charged international rates.
