Unlimited text and talk for ONLY ONE month

Hi there ,

I will be visiting the States in October/November for a total of 3 weeks and I will need a cell phone. It doesn't really matter to me what kind of cell, since it's more important to me to have unlimited text and talk during these 3 weeks (also to phones provided by other services). So what I'm looking for right now is a plan that offers me the above but for only one month meaning that there will be no further charging after one month.

Does anyone here can recommend anything to me? And how much would I have to pay for it? My family has Verizon but I don't think they can put me on their contract since it's only going to be for a month.

Your best option, would be a prepaid account. For the phone device you can purchase a cheap prepaid phone which retail average $20 for the cheapest. The new prepaid phones in a box come with $10 airtime so you automaticly get $10 back . Your best option for plan would be the 1.99 daily plan which gives you unlimted with any US number,after paying the daf for the days you only make or recieve calls. texting on that plan is only .02 per messege sent or recieved . international calls range from .29 per minute to 1.49 per minute plus airtime depending on the country.

prepaid also offers text bundles , $10 for unlimited verizon to verizon , or $20 bundle for unlimited text to any Us number as well as Mexico, Canada and Puerto rico hope this helps

I'd go with Cricket. Good phones and coverage. No contracts. Turn them on and off at will, and sell the phone back to them when you're done

It all preference I guess, I switched from cricket to Verizon since I live in a first floor apartment could never get signal with cricket, living in a large metro area was frustrating,Verizon tower is only a block away from me disgusted as a light pole. lol.

yeah, I have contract with verizon, i know i pay more but the coverage is worth it. I travel once a year from colorado to Iowa. when i was looking into a carrier i found vzw was the only large carrier that covered a large area of i-80 in NE. lucky for me, I chose VZW this pst trip right outside lincoln ran into white out conditions. I used my droid to look at the weather channel check the storm to know when to get back on the road .
