I want to use my old Pantech Jest 2 when traveling in Europe. I installed a Lebara foreign sim and it shows SIM LOCKED. How do I unlock it to use a foreign sim?

If you call into customer service they could unlock it for you

We want to make sure you can use your services. When traveling abroad, not all devices are compatible with foreign networks. You can view more details about our unlocking policy here, https://www.verizon.com/about/consumer-safety/device-unlocking-policy. Was your device activated on Verizon network before traveling?

My Pantech Jest 2 is an old Verizon phone no longer in service. I replaced it on my Verizon account with an iPhoneSE back in 2016. I have a Lebara sim from my travel in Europe which has worked in my old iPhone5 here locally on both the AT&T and T-Mobile networks.

You needed to request the SIM unlock code while the phone was activated on your account.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
