internation calling...sort of

My mom is traveling to Vietnam.

She's on my phone plan. We both live in NY.

She called me the night before from her phone when she landed in Hong Kong.

Will that be generated as an international call?

I don't mind to pay whatever fees. I'm just grateful she was able to reach me since we don't have an international plan or anything. I didn't even know she had her phone with her. I simply thought we wouldn't be able to communicate on our phones whilst she was overseas. Is there somewhere else I can read up on this kind of thing??

I would suggest adding an international plan to your account as soon as possible so you don't get hit with a huge bill for roaming later.
