network extender system light blinks red. replaced first one at verizon.replacement gives same result. tried to register, but as of today #48 says its isn't registered?

Does the system light stays blinking red, or does it alternate between a solid red light and a flashing red light? Has teh new network extender been set up http://vz.to/1M0Xp1X?
