Does turning off cellular data prevent the travel pass daily charge as long as I don't place/answer a call or send a text?

dh0201, we always want to make sure that our customers know what to expect with TravelPass. With TravelPass, if a call is sent or received, text message sent or received or data utilized, it will trigger for a 24-hour period. To ensure that TravelPass does not trigger, we highly recommend placing your device into airplane mode when not in use to ensure a charge does not occur unless needed. You can find this outlined here: https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/international-travel-faqs/#travelpass9

In the response above you say that sending or receiving a text causes triggers Travel Pass for 24 hours. However, in other FAQs on your website it says that receiving a text does NOT trigger it. Could you please clarify which is the case? Thanks
