Can anyone tell me how to close the apps windows on the Xoom?

We can get back to the home page but all the apps are technically still open, just shown as icons.  How can we close the apps?

If the app has an exit option in the menu, you can use that.  Otherwise, they will stay in your recently used apps listing until you reboot the XOOM.  The app showing in the recently used apps list does not mean that the app is still running.  You can verify this by going to settings>applications>running services to see which apps are still running.

Thanks for the suggestion. Also to open and close an App or web page on your Xoom, you can Touch + to open a new tab and to close it, touch X on the tab. Also, here is a link for more device assistance: http://support.vzw.com/clc/devices/index.html?p=5355
