I have a moto x and my LTE had been reduced to 3G this morning and now it is not on either signal despite having 4-5 bars. Help.

Tziggy,
Let's get you and your Moto X back on the speeds you deserve! What's your zip code? Please power off and remove SIM card for a few seconds, re-insert and power on. Launch Settings>More>Mobile Networks>Network Mode>CDMA/LTE. Keep us posted.

@Tziggy,
Thanks for trying that!
I reviewed the coverage in that area and show great 4G coverage. How long has this been going on? Are you not picking up 4G anywhere or is this only inside your home or in another specific location? Do you know of ours with VZW service that are experiencing this same issue? We may need to replace the SIM card if the issues persist. You can get a new SIM card at a VZW store http://bit.ly/3SdsA or we can order one for you.

Thanks for the update Tziggy. Have you replaced the SIM card at a store location to help in resolving your issue? Please let us know if this helped.
