After Marshmallow update edits to contacts will not sync to Hotmail account, what can I do to fix?

Marshmallow just installed.

previously any edits to contacts on the Droid in the native Contacts app would sync back to my Hotmail account which was connected via Exchange Active Sync. Server set to EAS.outlook.com

Now edits to contacts will not sync back to the Hotmail account. Email and Calendar are working fine.

Any ideas?
