Can I retrieve deleted text messages?

I ACCIDENTALLY deleted my text messages on my Droid Razr M, is there a way to retrieve them? I think it is so ridiculous that there isn't more steps involved in deleting messages. My finger accidentally hit the trash button and it erased ALL of my messages from someone that was really important to me. And now I can't figure out how to get them back. I am not pleased that this is so difficult. I see all the websites that say you can like dr. phone, but don't want to pay money if they actually don't work.

Unfortunately, unless you had the texts backed up, once they're deleted, they're gone.  You might try a text backup app from Google Play, like SMS Backup & Restore ... won't help with the texts you lost, but will help in the future.
