DROID RAZR MAXX HD Frozen Screen From Browser

Hi

using Google Chrome browser on my phone, several times the browser will lock up leaving the phone unusable, only happens with browser no other apps so im pretty sure its the browser causing this..whats the best way to reboot phone in this state and can anyone suggest a more stable browser? im thinking of using Firefox if i can ever get phone rebooted, I cant see how to remove battery, almost thinking i need to wait for battery to drain at this point, phone is about 2 months old
