Droid MAXX 2 app uninstalling

My husband and I just switched to Verizon. He is using his Droid MAXX 2 tonight for first time. The Facebook app keeps freezing then uninstalling on its own. Should we return the phone tomorrow or is there something we can do ourselves to fix issue

Try keeping the Facebook application uninstalled and use the browser to access your Facebook account to see if the phone behaves normally.
