I have had my Droid Razr now for a week, and I cannot log into "My Verizon" from my Phone. I get the same error message every time. "Service is temperaorily unavailable Please try again later Error code=-1. Then when I press OK the apps trys to access "My Verizon" and the message comes back "last log in Failed" Please try again.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this app. the app came with the phone and I downloaded the Update from the App Store.
I was having a similar problem and it turned out that in Settings>Data Manager>Data enabled was not checked. I had no other problems with anything else I could tell, just connecting using My Verizon. Not sure how it got unchecked, but after checking that, it worked fine.
With the help of tech support I was able to resolve this issue.
turns out that my verizon wirlesss sign on ID had a special character in it. The "My Verizon" app specifically says no special characters numbers and letters only (upper case or lower case letters). so after logging into verizon wirless from my computer and changing my user ID, I was able to log into "My Verizon" from my Phone.
Verizon needs to send out a techincal bullitin to tell poeople that if they have a special character in their user name they need to change it. it would save alot of grief for people who purchase new phones and want to get them working when they get them.
I have the latest Razr and had the same problems in this thread. I loaded an APP CLEANER and noticed that there were 2 Verizon apps loaded. Uninstall the one that says My Verizon, NOT the My Verizon Mobile. I changed my user name on the website to remove weird characters, purged the data on the phone and then the login worked with the My Verizon Widget. Thanks for all the posts that got me to fix this.
