I don't believe that this was due to a software update, but I have one specific person that does not receive my full text messages when I go over a certain number of characters. It used to work fine, but recently this person cannot receive my full texts. Its weird though because its only this one person. Could the fact that they are in New York and I am in Ohio have anything to do with it?

It shouldn't.. What phone / provider does this one person have?
+ 1 Brutiz00 Have you done any Cache Clears on your Phone lately you might have to do that or any F.R.'s in the past 6 months..And there could be a slim possibility that and app is causing the issue.. but i would try a clearing of the Cache preferably a System Cache..

I am having the same issue. I cleared my system cache and that did nothing. This is happening with multiple users. Sometimes they receive the first half of my text, sometimes the middle and sometime just the last two words out of a full text of more than 150 characters. I am not using any special characters or emoticons in these messages. Just letters, numbers and the period. This issue started happening about a week ago and is progressively getting worse.
Ouch well i'm not seeing this issue with my Maxx's i don't write long messages or send a bunch of Messages out but if your having the issues i understand your concern of wanting it fixed.. you might try clearing your Message inbox and Out going boxes that might help..
Brutiz00, have you downloaded a text messaging application to your device or are you using the standard text messaging feature that came on the device. If so, some software updates can conflict with the application software. I recommend that you delete any unwanted text messaging threads and the text messaging application. You will then need to power cycle your device off/on. I trust that these steps will improve the performance of your text messaging feature.
