This morning i dropped my phone on accident and when i picked it up it was turning off. I turned it back on and it had a red question mark in the battery slot. It said it was 100% and was on for about 2 1/2 hours. In that time i googled on what to do and it told me to hit the power button and both volume up and down buttons and once the menu came on to go to battery tools and it was suppose to fix everything. Well now im guessing that my phone died becuase it wont turn on, but it i have it plugged in it turns on but stays on the image of that white ''M" in the red circle. What do i do now?
I need help asap!!!
You need to call and ask tech support to send you CLNR phone. Hopefully you have a line to call from as they will want to do some trouble shooting before they decide to send you the CLNR. I don't know how they will consider the fact that you dropped the phone. If you tell them that! Does the phone show like it has been dropped? If the phone shows abuse then they may charge you for the CLNR after they get your phone back and inspect it. If the phone is more than a year old and does show signs of dropping it then you may want to consider other options. Do you have TEC insurance on the phone? If so you may want to call them, that will only be $99.00 deductible and they will send you a CLNR. http://support.verizonwireless.com/information/device_replacement_program.html http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/features/calling_features/equipment_protection.html
Hi there alitaylor!
Yikes! Your phone taking a bit of a tumble is never a good thing! I'm sorry learn that it won't even turn on now!
Thank you so much for all of the troubleshooting steps you've already completed. The phone may not have enough power to complete the reset you were attempting.
At this point I would suggest plugging the phone in for about 10 minutes. After that time, leave it plugged in and attempt the alternate reset again: http://bit.ly/REKeGN
If it still doesn't come up, do you happen to have phone insurance? You can start a claim here: http://bit.ly/07CrqPK
