Emergency mode upon return to USA

Hi, I just returned from overseas and my Verizon sim seems to not be working. I had no issues whatsoever with 6 or 7 different sims in Europe but as soon as I returned and popped in my Verizon sim earlier today I can't seem to get it out of emergency mode. Is this possibly because I need to assign APN's? Anyone have any ideas?
