Fitbit Supported or Not

According to Verizon Wireless websit the Fitbit is compatibile to the orginal Droid Maxx.

However, Fitbit states that it supports only the DROID RAZR M, HD, HD MAXX

I opened a case with Fitbit (removed) and they stated, "Unfortunately, we reviewed again and we confirmed that you device is not totally compatible."

I purchased the Fitbit based upon Verizon Wireless website and wasted $99.
