How do I get my phone to start up past a blank screen?

My Android turbo screen has gone blank. Keeps trying to turn on. Can't turn it on or off and is quite hot.

Hold Power and Volume down for 10-20 seconds.  That should simulate a battery pull and close open apps so that reboot starts fresh.

I have tried this repeatedly. It effectively turns the phone off. When I attempt to turn it back on, it vibrates once for 1 second makesbthe "log on" tones, screen remains blank. It does that repeatedly until I turn it off using the method you describe...

Sounds like you'll need to try one of these methods:

OFF   Perform a Factory Data Reset (Device Powered Off) - DROID TURBO by Motorola | Verizon Wireless

Thanks for this tip - this worked for my Samsung Galaxy 9+ this morning when the display screen was blank and nothing would show when attempting to do a normal restart using the Power button.
