In the settings turn on the hotspot feature.

However if your plan does not include it as a feature you will have to pay for the 2GB of data. Call 1-800-922-0204 or *611 from your phone and they can either activate it if not part of the plan or activate it for the paid option.

You can also activate it from the My Verizon web portal if you are the account owner.
