Issues with cars bluetooth

I am having issues with my Acura RDX's bluetooth and my Razr Maxx.  When I am on a call for several minutes the connect suddenly changes without any warning.  From my end it sounds like I am on a speaker and the phone simultaneously and there is a lot of reverbiration & echoing.  You can here a noticable difference in the sound.  On the other end of the call they can barely hear me and they say it sounds like I am in a tunnel. 

This issued happened once before and I was able to rectify it by deleting my phone from the car's system and then reinstalling it.  Unfortunately that didn't work this time.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
