My moto g7 play won't power off. Every time I press Power Off, it just restarts instead. When I first got the device about a month ago, it powered off fine. Then it started restarting occasionally when I pressed Power Off. Now every time I press Power Off, it restarts instead.
Encorefw,
This is definitely not the experience we want for you with the device. Has it been having any other issues that you have noticed? Does it have a software update available?: https://www.verizon.com/support/motorola-moto-g7-power-update/

Thank you for the response. My phone says the device is up-to-date, but it does not have the version that you provided in the link. I have Android version: 9; Current version PDYS29.105-165-13; Security patch level: April 1, 2020. Then there is a Software update applied May 2, 2020, and a Configuration update applied June 14, 2020. There are no options for any further updates on my device. But, it still does not power off; it just restarts. There have been no other issues that I have noticed with the device. Any other ideas?
(I pressed "correct answer" by mistake. Problem is NOT solved.) I do have the latest software. According to Verizon this is the latest version:

That is what I have. My phone says it is up to date. I have not noticed any other issues. Any other ideas?
