Oreo update changes sleep setting on display on its own

After Oreo update why does my phone display switches automatically back to default 30s even though I changed it to 2 minutes

Being able to personalize the sleep setting is always a plus, DroidMHD. Completing a software update should improve the device functions and features. To clarify, you go into Settings, Display, tap on sleep, you set this to two minutes, and then it would switch to 30 seconds on its own? If so, how long does it take before it switched itself back to 30 seconds? Please keep me posted.

This happens whenever I use apps and correction it’s 15 seconds not 30 that the display switches to despite my changing to 2 minutes.
