Is anyone else having an issue where you go to text or perform a google search and the play store randomly opens? I had the Droid Turbo 32 GB and now have the 64GB and this occurred on both of my devices. Any advice or help someone could give me would be very much appreciated.
Just to rule out the basic things, is your Google Bar/Chrome app right next to the Google Play Store app? Is it possible you are just accidentally hitting the Google Play Store while also selecting your intended app?
Is your phones operating system up to date? Are all the apps up to date?
My Play Store app is at the bottom of my phone and the Google bar is at the top. It generally happens when I am already in the app...like when I click the text or Google search and it begins to open, it will redirect itself to the play store.
My phones operating system is up to date and so are all of my apps with the exception of verizon family comparison, as I do not use this app.
Have you tried to delete the cache and data for the Google Play store?
It would be under Settings>Applications or Application Manager perhaps
